Foster an Animal
We have no shelter and never have. Every animal we rescue lives with a foster family until the day they're adopted — so the number of animals we can save is exactly the number of spare rooms, garages and couches people are willing to lend us.
Every rescue starts with one word: yes. Unfortunately, we often have to say we can't.
Not because we don't want to help, and not because the animals don't deserve a chance — but because there are never enough foster homes. There are litters of puppies waiting in our catchment areas, and adult dogs needing somewhere safe to stay.
Adult-dog fosters are the hardest to find, and always have been. And because a foster home stays occupied until that animal is adopted, every home that's full is a rescue we can't make. Opening one doesn't save a life once — it keeps the queue moving.
